Notes:
Higher glass fiber content improves strength, rigidity, and heat resistance — ideal for high-load and precision-machined components.
Higher GF content reduces toughness and slightly increases tool wear during machining.
Lower GF content (15%) suits applications requiring impact resistance; higher GF content (30%) suits high-rigidity, high-precision applications.
Unlike most glass-fiber reinforced plastics, PC+GF retains better impact resistance even at higher GF loadings, compared to GF-reinforced nylon or polyester at similar strength levels.
This makes it ideal when a part needs both structural rigidity and impact tolerance — not just one or the other.
